Six-time FIFA Player of the Year Marta will miss Brazil's Women's World Cup opener against Jamaica on Sunday as she continues to recover from a left thigh injury, manager Vadao said Saturday. "She has been recovering better than expected, but she cannot start," Vadao said at a news conference. "Maybe she will be on the bench, but our plan is that she doesn't take part in the game."
