FC Cincinnati hire Nijkamp to general manager role

Struggling MLS expansion side FC Cincinnati on Wednesday hired a Eredivisie technical director Gerard Nijkamp as its general manager. The move to bring aboard Nijkamp from the club PEC Zwolle in Netherlands comes just over three weeks after the club fired head coach Alan Koch following a slow start and hired Yoann Damet as the interim head coach.
